Vinegar from Xinomavro
Recognizing the lack of premium quality vinegar in the Greek market Yiannis Boutaris has long entertained the idea of producing a fine vinegar. This idea was realized with the perseverance and vision of Yorgos Anastasopoulos, Kir-Yianni’s General Manager. Based on equipment and know-how by leading supplier “Frings” Yorgos built a modern vinegar manufacturing facility in the village of Agios Georgios near Veria, not far from Kir-Yianni Estate. Winemaking left-overs and by-products of Kir-Yianni are used to produce two fine vinegars OXOS Xinomavro and OXOS Balsamic.
